After vitrectomy

Day after pars-plana vitrectomy. Three punctures were made in the sclera (white part) and a light and 2 tools were placed inside. Using the dilated pupil as a window, Dr. Doshi cut the vitreal jelly out of the inside of the eye and siphoned it away. He scrubbed the opacities away from the posterier side of the lens, and refilled the eyeball with clear saline.

Hopefully this will allow me to see better at night and reduce the large halos that were preventing me from driving. I am, however, pretty pissed that they took off chunks of my eyebrow when they pulled the tape off! It looks all patchy and thin!
