HyperREAL caricatures take 30-70 hours of work. They are hand-painted in Painter and Photoshop using many brushes and mediums to construct a highly exaggerated but very realistically rendered likeness.
Please note that I have been pushing the exaggeration in these paintings – celebrities are exempt from my usual cute style! Since they are rendered very realistically, the effect can be a bit grotesque. Sorry, Steve Buscemi!
